A tram in Valencia, near the port

Valencia’s lively port is brimming with bars and clubs not to mention the Americas Cup venue, and all of this can be reached easily by the city’s trams as can be seen in this photo. The Edificio del Reloj (clock tower), the "Edificio del Varadero" (dry dock building) and the modernist style port sheds are all emblematic buildings situated by the port. Valencia’s is a leading Mediterranean port in terms of commercial traffic between the
Iberian Peninsula and the rest of the world and is an increasingly popular stop for cruise ships.
The port area and its buildings are also often used to promote cultural activities such as concerts and art exhibitions.
